Review: Batman (1989)
10/10
In spirit of the 25th anniversary of one of the most legendary movies of all time Batman. This movie revolutionized the superhero movie genre with the darkness and perfection that Spiderman and Superman movies of the 1970's could not bring. Michael Keaton's casting was hated deeply by fans because of his pedigree of being a comedic actor, the anger was much more than that of Ben Affleck. This issue that fans had quickly changed because his performance rival's that of Christian Bale's. Jack Nicholson was a perfect cast for The Joker he brought the darkness and insanity that was thought to be perfect (until Heath Ledger came along that is). Tim Burton's take on the caped crusader along with the side story of Vicki Vale make this movie great in all aspects.
If you have not seen this movie it is a must see for all movie lovers and especially fans of the superhero genre.

Review: Batman Arkham Origins
9.5/10
Batman Arkham Origins takes a step out of line as it does not follow the story of the previous two games. Also this game does not have Rocksteady at the helm but rather Warner Bros. Games Montreal in charge. After Arkham Knight was announced it was realized that this game was just to get people from pressuring Rocksteady to complete another game.Arkham Origins takes place many years before the events of Arkham Asylum, in batmans second year of fighting Gotham's criminal underworld. Black Mask has placed a bounty on Batman's head bringing some of the most well known assassins from Bane to Deathstroke you must take them all down one at a time. Batman must put a stop to Black Masks plan while figuring out what exactly is going on.
I recommend this game to anybody who is a die hard fan of Rocksteady's Arkham games.

Review: Batman Arkham City
10/10
Batman Arkham City was the direct follow up to Batman Arkham Asylum, and takes place about one year after. This game featured all of the things from Arkham Asylum but improved on all aspects. This game is the first, and only video game I have ever played that played like a movie. The complexity of the story and the expert use of each character.
The games opening sequence (Unless you have the Catwoman DLC) is Bruce Wayne at a press conference at the containment wall of the super prison built in the heart of Gotham taking half of the island for the city's criminal underworld. He is there announcing his campaign to shut down Arkham City when the prison's guards storm the conference and take Wayne into the prison.
This game features two story lines inside of one. The first being a struggle to find out what Hugo Strange's plan called protocol 10 and how to stop it, but doing so in a way that he will not reveal your biggest secret, your identity as Batman. The second story is The Joker and his plan to distribute his poisonous blood through the city and keep everybody from taking it, problem is The Joker has infected you. You must save the lives of everybody in Gotham as well as Batman's greatest foe.
This game is truly not flawed in any way what so ever and is a must for any video game aficionados.

Review: Batman Arkham Asylum
9.5/10
Batman Arkham Asylum was Rocksteady's first well known video game and started their Arkham game series that is so well loved among Bat-Fans and video game fans alike. The game starts with Batman transporting The Joker to Arkham Asylum following an easier than normal battle with the Clown Prince of Crime. The Joker then breaks out of custody and takes control of the Asylum. The game features battles with many of Batman's rogues (Bane, Harley Quinn, The Joker, Poison Ivy, etc.) as well as many encounters with inmates turned Joker thugs.
This game is said to have revolutionized the superhero video game industry because of the combat systems, stellar storyline, use of gadgets and the overall look of the game.
I strongly recommend this game to anybody who enjoys a good story line and is a must for any Batman fans.

Review: Son of Batman (Spoilers)

7.8/10
This film touched on one of the most underestimated story arc's in Batman's long comic book history, Batman and Son. The films opening scene features Ra's Al Ghul's compound being attacked by a group of ninja's wielding rifles, an all out assault takes place and for the final time Ra's Al Ghul is killed. During the fight we get a glimpse of the man behind the attack Deathstroke planning to take over the assassins trained by Ra's. Talia (Ra's daughter) flees to Gotham City to enlist the help of Batman.Once in Gotham Talia calls a meeting during which Bruce is introduced to his son, whom he had no knowledge. Bruce is then given his son Damien and tasked with keeping him safe. After a few boring days for Damien he finally discovers the Batcave and steals Jason Todd's Robin suit and goes out into Gotham to avenge Ra's. Batman must save him from endangering his life while Damien wants the opposite.
Bruce is finally forced to accept Damien as the new Robin and fight crime together. Soon after Damien finds that Deathstroke has kidnapped his mother and sets out to save her. Batman must track down Damien and Talia at the same time. This movie features a great ending that is unexpected.
The voice acting in this movie is subpar other than Stuart Allan who voiced Damien Wayne and Robin. Allan captured the young teen struggling with his new living arrangements and his non existent relationship with his father and new identity as a vigilante crime fighter. Jason O'Mara, who voiced Bruce Wayne/ Batman in this film failed to capture the emotion and intensity that has come to be expected from anybody voicing the Dark Knight (Kevin Conroy)
Overall this movie was a good watch and I would recommend it to any Batman or comic book enthusiasts.

Arkham Knight Gameplay
Arkham Knight Gameplay Released at E3
During Sony's press conference at E3, Gameplay from Rocksteady's final installment in their Arkham Trilogy was released. This trailer followed the form of the other three Arkham Knight trailers, it featured the Batmobile heavily, and rightfully so considering how this is the first time it is playable in the franchise, but this went more in depth than the other trailers and featured a twist near the end for the fans.
